Studio Ghibli fans searching for their next piece of home decor need look no further. The studio's official online shop is once again offering a gorgeous antique-style mirror inspired by Ghibli's coming-of-age classic, Kiki's Delivery Service.
Donguri Sora, which offers hundreds of novelty and lifestyle products based on Ghibli's popular works, has just re-released its Kiki-themed "Window of Thought" Mirror -- a beautiful store-original product that pays loving tribute to the iconic fantasy film. Standing roughly 8.2 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide, the mirror features a colorful stained-glass design set inside a faux-wood frame. A cute model of Jiji, Kiki's faithful feline companion, sits on the "sill" while peering at his reflection. Observant fans will also note that one of the objects beside him is the same cat-themed coffee mug owned by Kiki's friend in the film, Osono. At the time of writing, Donguri Sora is selling the mirror for 5,940 yen (roughly US$36.92).
Studio Ghibli's latest clothing series tributes the courageous heroines of Kiki's Delivery Service, Castle in the Sky and The Secret World of Arriety.
Kiki's Delivery Service is one of several Ghibli-produced fantasy films that revolves around wizards, witches and magic. Based on Eiko Kadono's titular children's novel, the film follows 13-year-old Kiki as she sets out on a year-long coming-of-age journey. With her familiar Jiji in tow, Kiki departs from home on her mother's broomstick and eventually alights in a bustling seaside city called Koriko. After meeting a friendly bakery owner named Osono, Kiki settles in the town and starts up her titular business venture as a means to support herself. Over the course of the film, Kiki is forced to deal with ungrateful customers, stormy nights and other discouraging situations. However, she ultimately learns to be resourceful and resilient in the face of these difficulties. A common favorite among Hayao Miyazaki enthusiasts, the movie has won various honors, including a Mainchi Film Award for Best Animated Feature in 1990.
Due to its lasting popularity, Kiki's Delivery Service is prominently featured in new and returning merchandise collections on Donguri Sora. In May and early June, Ghibli rolled out a number of new Kiki-themed seasonal items designed to help fans stay cool (and hydrated) during their summer travels -- from stainless steel water bottles to faux-leather passport cases. More recently, Donguri Sora hooked fans up with adorable Hawaiian-themed apparel that honors Koriko City. Rather than depicting one individual area, the design is a collage of various Koriko regions coupled with memorable character scenes. This pattern has also been utilized for other products, including Donguri Sora's "Memories of Koriko" pocket notebook.

Viewers in the U.S. and Japan can stream Studio Ghibli's entire film library, including Kiki's Delivery Service, on Max.
